Our expedition model is designed to provide a seamless, immersive experience in one of the most remote and pristine environments in Alaska.

Expeditions are custom scheduled based on guest availability, weather conditions, and logistics, allowing for a personalized and optimized experience.

Each expedition accommodates a limited number of guests to maintain privacy, quality, and a deep connection to the environment.

Booking & Availability

Expeditions are offered between late May and September and are scheduled on demand.

Trips are confirmed based on:

• Availability
• Booking deposit
• Travel logistics

We recommend booking in advance to secure preferred dates.

Travel Logistics

Guests are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the lodge through licensed third-party operators.

We are happy to provide guidance and recommendations through our Plan page. Due to the remote nature of the property, travel timing may be adjusted as needed for safety and weather conditions. Weather can be a factor so if possible plan for one day on each end. We set a side an entire week for each trip once we reach full capacity.

Dining Experience

All meals are included and prepared daily.

Our dining experience reflects the spirit of remote living — combining high-quality meals with a relaxed, communal atmosphere. Guests are welcome to engage in the process and enjoy the shared experience of off-grid living.

Payment & Reservation

We accept: Cash, Check, Credit, and Debit
(5% processing fee applies to card payments)

• 50% deposit required to confirm reservation
• Deposits are non-refundable 
• Remaining balance due prior to arrival
• Refundable security deposit required

• General liability waivers required for all guests

• Gratuity is appreciated, never expected

• All payments made payable to JBay Holdings LLC

Private Buyouts & Custom Experiences

For guests seeking a fully private experience, we offer:

• Honeymoon and private couple experiences
• Corporate and leadership retreats
• Media and production bookings

We Currently have two Chalets. Reservations of four or more outside of families will be placed in separate chalets. 

Reserve both chalets regardless of group size with a fully customized itinerary.

Policies

All reservations, payments, and contractual agreements are processed through JBay Holdings LLC, the entity responsible for booking administration and guest services.

Due to the remote wilderness environment, JBay Holdings LLC reserves the right to:

• Adjust travel logistics
• Modify accommodations
• Reschedule or cancel bookings
• Refuse service when necessary

This includes circumstances related to weather, safety, or other conditions beyond operational control.

By submitting payment, guests acknowledge and accept all published terms, rates, and policies.
